As Yet Untitled Band Biography

Formed in Guilderland, NY, in December of 1998, As Yet Untitled has been playing strong ever since. Three of the band's four current members are founding members of the band. As Yet Untitled was started as a side project for the guitarist, Christian Ritter, and bassist, Glen Alliger, but soon became an all encompassing musical venture. Their drummer, Christopher Rizzuto, joined the band in 2000 after the departure of their original drummer. His drumming style became a newly driving force in the musical adaptability of this novice rock band. Contrary to the rock and roll precedent of guitar- and vocal-driven music, As Yet Untitled has struggled to realize the importance of all instruments in our music. The melodic bass lines and heavy drum beats have made the rhythm section a vitally important part of the music. Haunting guitar and keyboard work and pseudo-poetic vocals complete the mix. As Yet Untitled has recorded four albums to date: The Broken Heart of a Shattered Band (2000), Anima Mortalis (2001), Just Another Failure (2002), and Merry Christmas in E Minor (2002).
